The English Squad news: Jarell Quansah ruled out
Jarell Quansah will miss England's World Cup qualifying match against the Latvian side due to a physical issue and the defender – who did not participate in the national team's 3-0 exhibition victory over Wales at Wembley Stadium – will head back to his team the Bundesliga club.
He has been a mainstay in the team's defence this campaign but the national squad said no further team additions were planned for the qualifier in the Latvian capital on Tuesday.
England could qualify for the upcoming FIFA World Cup with two matches to remaining if they overcome Latvia on Tuesday and outcomes elsewhere in their qualifying group go their in their favor.
