Close to Ninety Air Travels Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airports

A review has identified that nearly 90 aircraft journeys linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly arrived at and departed from UK airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who assert they were exploited by the found guilty child sex offender.

Flight Logs Reveal Pattern of Travel

The flight logs were part of thousands of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the last year. The review found 87 flights linked to Epstein – including many that were hitherto undisclosed – arriving or departing from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel

Unidentified women were documented among the passengers travelling into and out of the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys happened after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a child.

“It was ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his dealings in the country,” remarked American attorneys representing numerous Epstein victims.

British Victims and Court Cases

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. But, that survivor has not received any contact by police in the UK, according to her attorney based in Florida.

In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police stated they had “not been provided with any additional information that would support restarting the probe.” They commented, “Should new and relevant information be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Continuing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions

A bill to make public all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of papers are expected to be released.

Additionally, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could disclose investigative materials from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
